The 1K1H is for the most extreme mixed neutron + gamma environments where gamma levels are very high; the 1J1G is for standard reactor environments with moderate gamma background.

What’s the difference between the NMEA1K1H and the NMEA1H1E?
The 1K1H is optimized for neutron radiation with extremely high gamma background—10^13 n/cm² neutron tolerance and 10 Mrad gamma. The 1H1E is optimized for gamma and heavy ions (deep-space) with 10 Mrad gamma and heavy ion tolerance, but no neutron hardening. The 1K1H is for extreme reactor environments; the 1H1E is for space environments.

What’s the gamma event LED?
