VMIC+ASSY 12149 is the galvanic-isolation and surge-protection extension module designed by VMIC (now Emerson PACSystems) to stack directly onto the rear-transition terminal assembly VMIC+ASSY 11994R13. When paired with the ultra-fast solid-state relay board ZT5524A1A, the combination delivers 1 000 Vrms channel-to-ground isolation and 4 kV surge immunity while maintaining sub-10 µs switching times. VMIC+ASSY 12149 accepts all I/O signals from VMIC+ASSY 11994R13, isolates them through reinforced digital isolators, and routes them via rugged screw-clamp terminals. ZT5524A1A then provides 24 independent SPST solid-state relays rated for 250 VAC/30 VDC, allowing PLC systems to drive high-energy loads without additional contactors. Both VMIC+ASSY 12149 and ZT5524A1A are engineered for 6U VME64x or standalone DIN-rail mounting and operate over the full –40 °C … +85 °C industrial temperature range.
